In the packaging and transportation of GB heavy rails, the "double buffer + double protection" strategy is adopted. When packaging, a layer of EPE pearl cotton is first wrapped on the surface of the rail to provide initial buffering. After stacking, corrugated cardboard is placed between the layers to further reduce friction. When bundling, first cross-wrap with steel wire with a diameter of 4mm, and then use steel belts to bundle and fix in a ring. Anti-rust treatment uses anti-rust oil containing zinc powder, which is evenly applied to the surface of the rail by brushing, especially the welds and corners. After the anti-rust oil dries, it is first covered with a layer of breathable anti-rust paper, and then wrapped with a layer of tear-resistant PVC plastic film. A layer of anti-ultraviolet paint is also sprayed on the outer surface of the plastic film to prevent long-term light from accelerating material aging, and fully guarantee the quality of the heavy rails during transportation.
